Street Distancing
(2020 - 2021)
Street photography is about depicting the state of a society through its urban movements. And it was from this premise that a representation of our streets, transformed by the pandemic of the 21st century, seemed necessary.
Street Distancing illustrates the complexity of this crisis through evocative visuals, highlighting the sudden changes in behavior, scenery and appearance of places and people in urban space, in scenes that are sometimes deserted, sometimes a source of smiles. But above all, it's a testimony to this strange period and the anomalies that accompanied it; a testimony that translates into candid street photography, in search of a poetry that was thought to have disappeared.
